Twitter announced the latest update to Twitter Cards will be available as of May 22 – Twitter Lead Generation Cards – which include a handy one-click lead generation button. When integrated to your CRM system (eg Salesforce, Mailchimp etc.), Twitter Lead Generation Cards will provide you with the name, username, and email of the Twitter user which will be sent directly to your CRM system.
The cool thing about the new cards is that your followers can engage with your brand right on twitter by simply expanding the Tweet and not have to leave Twitter to go through a landing page or other web form. Once expanded, Twitter customizes the card to enhance the user experience with the user’s information already filled in.
Twitter Cards let you bring rich experiences and useful tools to users within an expanded Tweet. The Lead Generation Card makes it easy for users to express interest in what your brand offers.
